I was given the opportunity to support Golden Age Karate, a non-profit organization created by Jeffrey Wall, whose mission is to empower senior citizens to enhance their physical and mental well-being through martial arts, building strength, flexibility, and confidence. I wanted to create a bold and unique typography look to emphasize the strength, power, and courage that the organization promotes. Jeff requested that a lion head be incorporated into the mark so I brought in half of a lion face to imply and to help add movement overall.
